the story
Several years ago I began having serious health issues. From the massive weight gain, to depression and hair loss, I knew something was wrong. After years of allowing fear to paralyze me, I finally had a breakthrough moment when a friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer.

After several months of doctor visits, it was decided that I would need surgery. In exchange for my newly improved quality of life I would have to give up something; something that had been with me since day one... My uterus. This health journey inspired Good Times at Mike Kelso's.

Whether it is uterine or other gynecological cancers or disorders such as fibroids, endometriosis, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), I would soon discover, this was not just "my story" but EVERY woman's story and every person who has ever had a mother, an aunt, a daughter, a niece, a grandmother, a classmate, a coworker, a friend, or a neighbor.
